Fall Football Weddings

The Wordsworth Ballroom was host to a fall/football themed wedding on October 18. The centerpieces had 3 floating flowers in our round vases and the mirrors with candles, also provided by Waterford. This couple chose to bring in a Giants shaped football helmet ice sculpture. Low centerpieces make for easier conversation at tables.

The set up for this room works well as no one is in the back of the room. Guests are either close to the dance floor/food or to the bride and groom's table.

Washington Bridal Show @ Waterford at Springfield

The Washington Bridal Show was held at the Springfield location for the second year in a row on September 28. Colleen represented the Springfield location and Erin and Charlena from the Fair Oaks location. Waterford offers a sample of items on our menu. This year we served our Pork Loin with herb roasted new potatoes.

September Weddings

This wedding featured bright fall colored flowers with splashes of pink to add more color. The Alexander and Carrington Ballrooms, which this wedding was held in, holds 200 to 300 guests. This wedding had 200 guests with an extra large dance floor and room for a stage for a band! If you are interested in these items, it is important to take this into consideration when booking a space at Waterford at Fair Oaks.

This couple chose to have their first dance following their entrance into the room. Towards the end of their first dance, the parents of the couple were invited on to the dance floor, followed by the bridal party and then the rest of the guests. The dance floor was filled in moments!

Salads were served as the guests were seated followed by a delectable plated dinner of filet and chicken.
